Hi, I’m Andrew – a database developer passionate about solving unique data challenges, implementing clean database design, and maintaining data quality.
I’ve worked across multiple industries, with experience spanning corporate, government, and higher education sectors.
I’ve included short summaries of personal projects I’ve worked on, either for fun or as part of my graduate degree. Feel free to ask me about any of them – when I work on something engaging, challenging, and fun, I easily spend hours hyperfocused on it.
I feel the same way about work projects, but I’m more selective about sharing those details to maintain confidentiality for my previous employers.
⚠️ A Note About AI Usage ⚠️
All of the projects currently listed were built without the use of AI assistance, primarily because they predate the rise of tools like ChatGPT and Claude. Any future projects that leverage AI will be clearly indicated as such, along with a note on the extent to which it was used.
That being said, I do believe AI is a powerful tool when guided by a knowledgeable hand. In the spirit of transparency, I use AI to help refine the wording on this site - I draft my thoughts and use it to help polish things up a bit.
For future projects, I’ll include a disclaimer noting any AI involvement and the role it played in the process.
